We ordered a chieftec cft-560A-12C (SN: 07399156032B12007054) power supply from a local retailer ( iPon Computer Kft. \/1137 Budapest, \u00dajpesti rakpart 5. \/ +36-1-450-21-11 \/ http:\/\/www.ipon.hu\/) for christmas. After christmas (when we tried to turn it on) it was not working. I returned the supply at the very first day possible (02 january 2008). After 15 days (without any response) I called them, they told me they had determined the power supply was faulty and they sent it to a repair service. I asked them if it was possible to rather replace it since it had never been used. They refused.
\nOn 30 january 2008 they called me, and told me that the power supply was ready. Two days later I got the supply back, but it was not and still is not working. This is how they “repaired” my power supply. I could give them an other chance, but I rather throw the supply into the trash than trust it to power my expensive computer and more to the point my most precious data on the RAID system. I ask you kindly never to sell any equipment to the mentioned retailer since incidents like this diminish your reputation you established over the years.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
